Angry's iPod: Because there was no baseball today

Yeah, imagine my surprise when I got the simultaneous text messages from the other Idiots telling me tonight's game was postponed. I didn't even think to check the weather before I headed to Ginger's place for the game. Oh well, at least I got a nice spaghetti dinner out of that trip.

So what was I listening to on the way over to Russ's? Well the wife and I were driving to the movies earlier today an I couldn't help but notice the KUPD was playing a ton or 90s grunge. That led me to playing a little Pearl Jam on the ride over.

Peaked in their debut

I believe it is universally accepted that Ten is a fantastic album. Personally, I think it is great because it comes off as carefree at times but mostly delivers a strong societal message. How you pull that off in a single album is beyond me.

If I had to select a favorite track I would have to go with Even Flow. At the time the album was released I hadn't heard anything like it. For me, this is a song that takes me back in time.

Being that I was so young when this album was released I don't really have anything else deep to say about it. It's about as solid a fucking album as they come and if any of our readers have managed to not listen to it in it's entirety I recommend you make it happen.
