AAUGH!

The only thing I can compare to repeatedly going to Cubs at D-Bag games and expecting to win only to be disappointed is when Charlie Brown kept thinking he would kick that football and every time Lucy would pull the ball away at last moment. We knew the Cubs were going to lose, but somehow I expected them to actually show up for the game.

The night started out so great with cold beers and Irish Car Bomb shots at Jackson's on Third.

Yes, the lineup was horrible. Reed was batting cleanup for God's sake. Yes, having a midget infield is going to lead to tons of line drives over their heads. And sure, Dan Haren is a great pitcher. But shit man, I saw one hit in the game. ONE HIT! And that was by TRL. Okay, so there were two other hits, both homer runs. One by Soriano to lead off the game, which we missed showing up late to the game and Angry actually called waiting for our tab at Jackson's on Third. And the other was by Little Babe Ruth which I missed while on my way back from a smoke break.

Hey you losers in the Upper Deck, win a something or other.

So what else can I report from the game? Fuki had an awesome throw out in the bottom of the first. AZ ran rampant and stole 5(+1) bases, most uncontested. The row in front of me featured a Father-Son combo with the son wearing a Gayle Sayers jersey and the Dad a Nitschke Packers jersey. For some reason though when AZ scored their first run they both cheered. I get the Dad, but the son confused me. So you're a Bears fan, but are rooting for the D-Bags? Oh, did I mention he was also wearing a Cubs hat.

Always bet on the mustard, ALWAYS!

Tonight the Idiots will head to Chase again. Hopefully the Cubs can turn it around and I can break my 0-4 streak of seeing Z pitch in person and wearing my #38 jersey. Mr. Monopoly will be back in the lineup and my favorite catcher, Koyie, will backup El Toro Loco.

You can have 8 different types of hot dogs, but none will match the Wrigley dog, HA!

Enjoy the pictures from the game. And since the game was so horrible, we won't actually show any game shots. But don't worry, this will give you the perfect feeling of being at a D-Bags game, because for the D-Bag fans, the game is actually just filler for all the excitement and entertainment of the jumbotron, pool, and food.
