Top 5 games of 2008...#3

Unbelieveable

May 30, 2008 - Colorado Rockies @ Chicago Cubs.
Again, I found myself driving around beautiful shitty Yuma Arizona, listening to the Cubs on XM radio. I was returning to work after lunch and turned the receiver on just in time to listen Santo laugh about how rediculous the game was getting. Apparently, Lilly decided the spot the Rockies an early 8-0 lead, you know, to keep things interesting. So I got to listen to about 5 minutes of the game before returning to work. Fast forward a couple hours. I was extremely surprised to find out that the Cubs were clinging to a 10-9 lead in the bottom of the 8th. I immediately started laughing. I looked over to a co-worker and explained how this team could do no wrong at the moment. Marmol and Wood shut the Rockies down the rest of the way and I headed down to the free happy hour at my hotel a very happy man. Winning streak in tact.

Ahhhhhh, the good old days sure were good.

Moving on.

Today's random advice...

Over the Line - For all of you people back in Chicago, read up on this game. You can play it with a Clincher and you only need 3 players to a team. Oh, did I mention that beer swilling is encouraged? What a great game.
