Sure is nice to see someone can get the job done. Lilly was masterful tonight, and I am not just talking about his pitching. How bout him taking out Mr. Sourpuss himself, Yadier Molina?

The Cubs magic number continues to fall but it sure is nice to reduce it with a win rather than a Brewers loss. Maybe one of these days both will happen on the same day. Let's not get a head of ourselves.

Harden heads to the mound tomorrow. It looks good for the first series win in quite some time. I am really hoping they make it happen. I find myself looking forward to Saturday and Sunday's football games more than I should when the Cubs have the NL's best record. Who knows, if the Cubs pull things together maybe I will be motivated to post more.
